Check out the 2020 jeep gladiator
The Gladiator is an all-new model for Jeep. It combines the best of the Jeep Wrangler with a pickup truck to make it a capable vehicle both on and off the road. This midsize pickup truck offers best-in-class towing and has a unique look that makes it unmistakable when it passes by. Check out the 2020 Jeep Gladiator.
The Gladiator comes in four trim levels. The entry-level Sport has 17-inch steel wheels; it comes with the Sunrider folding soft top with a sunroof and the option for all-terrain tires. The Sport S adds 17-inch alloy wheels, power windows and door locks, and tailgate locks. It also has automatic headlights and comes with tinted windows. The Overland comes with heated and power-adjustable side door mirrors, and it adds side steps and 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The 2020 Gladiator will also come in a Launch Edition Rubicon with a body-colored hardtop, fender flares, and 17-inch gloss black wheels.
The engine in the Gladiator is a 3.6-liter V-6 that creates 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It works with a six-speed manual transmission with an eight-speed automatic available as an option. Later in the year, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel with 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque will arrive.
This truck offers excellent towing capabilities. It can tow up to 7,650 pounds and handle up to a 1,600-pound payload. This is more than most other pickup trucks in its class. Even with a full load, the Gladiator will steadily climb steeper inclines, and the wider grille that Jeep gave it allows for more air intake for better cooling. A Selec-Speed control system is available to help keep an even speed on rough terrain without the driver having to work the brake or the throttle.
The Gladiator looks unlike any other vehicle on or off the road. Jeep lengthened the frame, so it’s huge, with a Jeep front end that comes either with a soft top or hardtop and doors that are easier than before to take off. The front windshield folds down just like the Wrangler’s windshield. Around back, a five-foot bed made from high-strength steel has four heavy-duty tie downs and the option for covered external power. The tailgate has a three-position feature with a halfway open position to make it easier to haul longer loads.
When you take the Gladiator off-road, it handles rough terrain much like the legendary Wrangler. Jeep’s Command-Trac 4×4 system comes standard with the Sport and Overland, and the low torque helps it tackle all kinds of terrain. Skid plates come standard on all models, along with front and rear tow hooks. Choose the Rubicon for a winch-ready front bumper. A front off-road camera is an available option to help you get a closer look at what’s in front of you.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is an impressive vehicle both inside and out. Its powerful engine, and exterior design give it excellent towing capabilities, and the available features inside make it a nice ride. Visit your local Jeep dealership today for a test drive.
